Opportunities for cooperation between tour operators from the exotic Seychelles Islands and hospitable Bulgaria were discussed at a meeting in Sofia, the first ever event of this kind.

Tour operator First Choice plans to increase 10 times the number of Bansko ski holidays sold on the British market for the '06-'07 winter season, said the company's local representative Bogdan Hristov. Around 350 Britons booked skiing vacations in Bansko last season. The First Choice catalogue includes 5 hotels in Bansko and one in the nearby city of Razlog. Bansko is market as a skiing destination in Britain also by Balkan Holidays-London, Thomson and Thomas Cook.
