Bansko Spick-and-Span to Welcome Skiers

The municipal authorities and the population of Bansko, Bulgaria's largest winter resort, will spruce up the town for the opening of the winter season in the middle of December. All November people will clean the streets, sidewalks and gardens, on the initiative of the municipality that aims at making the place comfortable for the tourists that will arrive in the winter.
"Bansko will be spick-and-span. The local people got used to the idea they have to work hard to make our town a beautiful place," said Bansko Mayor, Alexander Kravarov who will run Bansko for one more term. He promised a winter season without problems even if the forecasts for a million tourists coming to the resort come true.
