The EU provides 1.3 billion euro in Regional Development programmes for Bulgaria till 2013. Additional 240 million euro will be envisaged in Bulgarian state budget for the same purpose.
Bulgaria's Minister of Regional Development, Assen Gagauzov, Finance Minister Plamen Oresharski and Minister of the Interior Roumen Petkov presented the programme yesterday. The funds will be alloted in five directions. According to the Director-General for Regional Developments in the EU, 150 projects have already been prepared within the frameworks of the Regional Development programme.
