Irish Businessmen "Shocked" by Bulgaria's Real Estate Prices

They were shocked because the real estate price list here was not what they expected to find in an Eastern European country, said a representative of the broker company, intermediary of the Irish businessmen.

Over 190 Irish businessmen came to Bulgaria at the end of the week. Most of them were interested in purchasing flats, complexes and business offices. The Irish guests were taken to several hotels and flats in the Black Sea coastal towns of Sozopol and Pomorie but were shattered by the high prices.

The foreigners were taken by surprise to find offers of EUR 1000 per a square meter for real estate properties in the Sunny Beach resort and Burgas downtown.
