Israeli co to build shopping mall in Plovdiv
Рубрика: Property news Източник: DnevnikAn Israeli company has announced plans to invest 45 mln euro in a shopping mall development in Bulgarian city Plovdiv, said the InvestBulgaria Agency, the local investment promotion authority.
The agency will present on Tuesday a First Class Investor certificate to the Israeli company which, according to the agency, has completed a number of office and commercial developments in its home state, Europe, the U.S. and Canada.
Central Mall Markovo will have total built-up area of 64,000 sq m. Retail outlets and cinema theaters will occupy 18,000 sq m with the remaining floor space earmarked for offices. A four-floor parking facility for 850 cars will be available to visitors and staffers.
The shopping center will employ 1,000 staff upon completion in 2009.
General Electric Real Estate and Quinlan Private are currently developing another large-scale shopping center in Plovdiv.
