Italy's Zamperla to design Veliko Tarnovo amusement park

The idea is to build the theme park in three stages on a 8 ha site that has not been picked yet.
The Italian company will present the park blueprint this summer.

Another infrastructure project in the pipeline is a gondola lift running between Veliko Tarnovo and the village of Arbansi at a distance of some 4 km. The cost of the 3.2 km lift facility, developed by the local representative of DoppelMayr, is seen at 4 mln euro. The Veliko Tarnovo municipality intends to create a joint venture with the future investor.

A funicular railway is planned over the Yantra river which runs through Veliko Tarnovo. The facility will reduce bus traffic through the old residential quarters of the city which was visited by 300,000 tourists last year.
